Le Loft des Innocents turned out to be a crazy design challenge for Flanquart, whose client wanted something new, ambitious and creative for the burnt out structure that offers a 360 degree view over Paris. The design theme was to create a quiet and relaxing place during the day that can switch to a more intriguing and mysterious theme in the evenings. The designer worked with straight and slanting lines to give the space a modern and geometric vibe. The loft is meant to evoke the emotions with the use of intriguing color and lighting effects that combine complexity, simplicity and lightness. The wooden beams that feature prominently on the ceilings have a dramatic effect on the overall appearance of the apartment.
